It always amazes me how I am so excited before a wedding, I have shot over 650 weddings to date now in my photography career. However every bride I meet they always leave that special feeling with me, Jasslyn and her feonsay Justin are from South Africa, they both wanted a simple elegant wedding which was held at Lakelands resort on the gold coast, arriving with Jass in the morning she was getting ready at the Jupiters Casino which I might add is a mecca for wedding photography the place was just incredible. All of our girls were on time and so we quickly stepped into it, some amazing shots Jass is the most photogenic bride ever, her makeup was sensational hair superb, what more could you ask for. After we left Jass I headed off to meet up with Justin and the boys ,
The weather wasn’t looking too good for an outdoor ceremony so we moved it inside, after a tearful arrival and very emotional service, I couldn’t help notice Justins eyes were welling up when Jasslyn came down the isle, the emotions are so beautiful, after the formalities , What a fantastic location, luckily the rain stopped and we were able to get so many beautiful shots of the two of them. I always make a point of arriving in time for our brides to freshen up allowing them plenty of time before the reception starts, finished up with some great shots of the reception, I would recommend to any couple to check out Lakelands its fantastic.
Jaslynn and Justin booked us about 6 months ago, I knew when I first met her she was going to be the wedding photographers dream bride, ” diamond tiara and all the bling which is what I love, Brides of elegance was the chosen dress omg how amazing. we started the shoot at the Jupiters casino on the gold coast, spending around an hour and half with her and the girls, I have to say this girl knew how to look amazing without even trying,
I always get so excited when I am photographing my brides and they look so natural makeup by the amazing Donna Sullivan , anyway we then headed to Lakelands gold club resort which is close by to meet up with Justin and the boys, with a few minutes to go before she arrived we were able to grab a few shots because it started to rain , so our wedding planner was right on the ball she suggested we hold the ceremony inside , just in case, anyway after some quick organising by the wonderful staff we were set to go, Jas came down the isle like a an angel she was simply breathtaking, I managed to get a couple of quick shots of a insect flying into Justins eyes ( so he claims ) which caused his eyes to run lol , amazing ceremony to follow once the formalities were over we had about 5 golf buggies waiting for us to take us around the golf course , which I like to add was first class, the surroundings are just beautiful I took so many fantastic shots of the couple and their bridal party just enjoying themselves, a big thankyou to Yoka ( Our wonderful wedding co-ordinator ) for being my driver and allowing me to go where ever I wanted . After about an hour we finised up on time and it didn’t rain thank god and then we all went in for the reception to do our cutting of cake and some beautiful room shots, a big thanks again the Lakelands for looking after us.
