Hello and welcome to my page I’m Paula , owner and head photographer for Thats Me Photography. Sagittarius star sign which makes me so creative and fun to be around , also a bit of a risk taker hence why I love pushing the boundaries of wedding photography, according to the great horoscope authors – Sagittarius traits are socially amiable and have a unique charm which draws people. They are regarded as the friendliest among all the zodiacs as they can do all favors for a friend expecting nothing in return. They are proved to be great entertainers with their unique creativeness and great sense of humor. Yes I think that sums me up , I enjoy socializing with my friends, I am married to Leigh Gray who is head of Thats me Video and Cinematography, its great when we get to work together , we just celebrated our 10th Anniversary in may this year, we have been working together on this career now for 9 years and we absolutely love it, every weekend we get to meet so many people that touch our lives in one way or another .
I know I have photographed over 650 weddings now , but yet when I shoot this weekend there all so different and I get just as excited now as I did on my first wedding when I shoot . Alot of changes for Thats me , now we have a new blog which is alot more interactive, as a wedding photographer we only specialize in photographing brides. Our images are often sought after for bridal magazines and advertising venue’s etc. We only have one wedding package with Thats me . So its simple and not too overwhelming , as organizing a wedding these days , there are so many options and packages to consider. Here at Thats Me all our couples book the same package and if they want to get more after the wedding that’s up to them , we don’t up sell at Thats me , couples choose what they want. We look forward to growing our presence on the net as well as facebook come along and visit us.
I love networking with other photographers, Rocco Ancora , Nick Ghionis, just to name a few, my absolute favorite in the whole world is YERVANT I have spent alot of time learning from him, I have to say he is the greatest wedding photographer in the whole world , apart from me of course, his kind and humble beginnings story is so inspirational, I spent a week with him and Anie in Melbourne when I did his seminar , Wow thats all I can say my photography totally changed, I do feel its important to network with other professionals in the industry you can learn so much , and hence all my couples benefit from what they teach me.
It really did prompt me to start the Brisbane wedding photographers lunch group . Its a huge membership of wedding photographers that get together every month and talk about the industry and how we can improve our services, its so important to always be learning new things , I am also a full accredited member of the AIPP ( which stands for the Australian institute of professional photographers, go to their site and see what it takes to be a member AIPP recently Thats me took out four silver awards in the wedding catorgory , two in Queensland and two in Melbourne, which I am told its alot harder down there , I was so proud of myself and they are now displayed in our studio so all my brides can see what it takes to win awards in the Photography industry.
Also we are qualified and accredited CPP members of the PPAQ which stands for Certified Professional Photographer with the Professional photographers association of Queensland, click here to view details about them PPAQ as well as various other organizations. I do feel its important to be always learning and mastering your craft, both of these main organizations have a constant calender of seminars that we attend. Its great to keep up with all the new things coming out all the time, wedding photography is always changing. Anyway I do hope you enjoy the images on the site .
